RIVER HOUSE - GREEN STAR SILVER CERTIFIED HOME

Sitting on the banks of the Intermediate River, This house is a Green Star Silver Certified retreat. Integrating and expanding on the expression of the original modern house and inspired by Joseph Eichler, this house incorporates simple lines, and clean details. With the goal of going Net-Zero energy in a few years, the house is well air-sealed and insulated to reduce energy consumption, as the first step in achieving this goal. Using the Green Star Certification program as the guide to the design and construction, the project team was able to achieve sustainability in all aspects.
