About
In working with clients, I listen to closely to find design solutions that will support their daily living. I am an advocate for thoughtful use of energy, water and materials. I achieve this through continually researching and incorporating cutting edge practices into each project. I spent 6 years practicing architecture at a residential firm in Minneapolis working with homeowners and peers to design healthy and efficient homes. After moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan with my family in 2013, I started my own practice with a continued focus on sustainability. My work with Habitat for Humanity of Kent County strengthened their practice of building affordable homes to be certified Energy Star and LEED for Homes. I work with homeowners to complete LEED for Homes and GreenStar Certification. My expertise in sustainable design helps the client reach their goal of living in an energy, water and resource efficient home.
